Numerical Analysis of the Mixed Flow of a Non-Newtonian Fluid over a Stretching Sheet with Thermal Radiation

چکیده

A mathematical model is elaborated for the laminar flow of an Eyring-Powell fluid over a stretching sheet. The considered non-Newtonian has Prandtl number larger than one. effects variable properties and heat generation/absorption are also discussed. balance equations reduced to set ordinary differential through similarity transformation solved numerically using Chebyshev spectral scheme. effect various parameters on rate transfer in thermal boundary regime investigated, i.e., conductivity, ratio mixed convection parameter. Good agreement appears exist between theoretical predictions existing published results.
